In this surgery Dr. Otto Zuhr, Munich/Germany, performs a crown lengthening in the aesthetical zone before restoring the two upper central incisors. The aim is to achieve a more harmonious smile before restorations are placed on two frontal incisors. The main reason for the surgery was the incomplete eruption of the teeth. Initially the gingival is removed buccally with a split-flap technique.
Afterwards the bone is remodelled using diamond burs. Microsurgical sutures are then used to place the flap back in the original position. After a healing period of two month a gingival remodelling is planned.
